The weekend of gaming, trading, and priceless memory-making culminates with the Calling Main Event! Put your Blitz skills to the test as the most spirited of players congregate to prove that they are the stuff of legend and are able to raise the oh-so-desired trophy, stamping their name into history, claiming the glory and incredible amounts of cash and special prizes!

This is a professional level open entry tournament (no invitation or qualification is required, anyone can play!)

Player Meeting: 9:45 am

There is a player cap of 148 (with the potential to increase if space becomes available)

Format: Blitz Constructed - Swiss rounds with Top 8

(128 or less is 10 rounds, 129+ is 11 rounds)

Tournament Structure

A number of Swiss rounds will be played based on attendance. Swiss rounds are best of one and will be 30 + 5 minutes in duration.

The Top 8 players after swiss rounds will advance to the Top 8 double-elimination playoffs. The format of the Top 8 will remain to be Blitz

Top 8 matches are best of one. Top 8 matches have no time limit. (Players are expected to play at a reasonable pace. Slow play penalties will be enforced.)

For the first three rounds of the Top 8, the player that finished higher in the Swiss portion of the event chooses to play first or second. For all other rounds in the Top 8, the player who chooses to play first or second will be determined randomly.
